Neighbours can become good friends. In our case, Laura, the super amazing bass player for the Whyte Horses and her boa Howard Storey, live across the road from the brewery. We got talking and thought it was a great idea to make a beer for the band, especially during a time when the future of live music stands of a precipice due to social distancing measures during the horrific grip covid is having on our society. So we made an amazing beer, based on our house Berliner Weiss, muddled and mashed with dulse irish seaweed, rock salt and loads of blueberry puree and Canadian maple syrup. The resulting deep purple coloured beer is sour and salty, slightly sweet with a hint of smokey maple and a big hit of blueberry.

We're optimistic that live music will return stronger than ever. So we've added the Whyte Horse's 2021 tour dates on the can label. Check them out and have a listen to their latest awesome album, HARD TIMES, best listened to when drinking a Deck 7: http://whytehorses.com/
