Carnival Newsletter Edition 7

Well hello there. It's been a while....

Please accept our apologies for the lack of blogs and newsletters of late. Despite the current situation that we all find ourselves in, we've managed to keep ourselves very busy here at Carnival HQ. We have all manner of plans under way and some rather dazzling new beers planned and due over the next couple of months.

So how are you faring through all of this? Everybody here at Carnival sends their love and seasons greetings.

In this edition:

  1. Tasting Room Update

  2. New Cans and Gift Cards Ready; New Merch and 750ml Sharers Due

  3. First Ever Carnivalier Quarterly Competition Winner

1. Tasting Room Update

This weekend, our Tasting Room will be open:

Friday 11th (17:00 - 22:00) Saturday 12th (13:00 - 21:00) Sunday 13th (14:00 - 20:00)

On Friday and Saturday, we are joined by the rather ace Rainy City Ramen Club from Manchester. More details are available on the event's page on Facebook.

But have a look at what they're bringing.....

And on Sunday we're having a joint celebration of sorts. Both ourselves and the awesome Tikka Chance On Me celebrate our respective first birthdays. How better to celebrate than with some epic Indian-inspired street food and some tasty Carnival beers at our Tasting Room?

Reserve a table for Friday, Saturday or Sunday here.

2. New Cans and Gift Cards Ready; New Merch and 750ml Sharer Bottles Due

New Cans Ready

We packaged two new beers into cans very recently. Our latest iteration of All Clouds Are Silver is a juicy 4.7% Pale Ale hopped with Idaho 7, and Paisley is an 8.6% Azacca and Chinook DIPA brewed with our pals at Love Lane. Have a look below and click to find out more:

More details on the beers

New Webstore E-Gift Cards Ready

The perfect gift for any beer lover.

With so many beer styles available to buy right now, it can be a nightmare working out what beer to buy for a loved one. So why not absolve yourself of the task and allow that special someone to tailor a beer gift for themselves?

Choose your desired amount (anywhere from £1 to £1000) and away we go!

New Merch Due

We have a nice batch of merch including t-shirts, jumpers and hats due very soon. Keep your eyes on the webstore and our social media feeds for an announcement. Quantities will be limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so don't miss out!

New 750ml Sharer Bottles Due

One other thing to keep your eyes out for is the launch of a very special beer in the coming weeks. It's big, it's boozey, it's tasty and will be our first beer in 750ml "sharer bottles"(I'll be sharing one or two with myself).

Remember, we're still running a couple of free shipping offers on our webstore:

- Local customers (within 10 miles of the brewery) can get their order hand-delivered for free on purchases of £25 and over (£2.50 delivery charge if the purchase is below £25).

- Mainland UK customers can get their order sent by next-day courier service for purchases of £50 and over (£6.99 courier-fee if the purchase is below £50).

3. First Ever Carnivalier Quarterly Competition Winner

If you are subscribed to our Carnivalier Newsletter (sign up here if you haven't already), you will have noticed over the last few months that we've begun a series of quarterly competitions.

The concept is simple; each quarter, we'll ask you to come up with a beer idea that sits within a particular style. All entries will be reviewed by our brewing team and ownership and the winning entry will be brewed on our "big kit", ready for canning. The winning entrant will be invited to join us for the beer's brew day (Covid restrictions pending) and will receive a 24 case of the beer once it has been canned.

The most recent competition was for a dark beer to ease us through the thick of Winter. Our brewing team have been deliberating for a couple of weeks but have now come to a decision and we are ready to announce the winner.

Congratulations and a massive thank you to Thomas Jones for his idea of a Dulce de Leche & Pecan Imperial Milk Stout. Thomas, we'll be in touch under separate cover to sort your prizes!

We'll be announcing the next quarterly competition very soon, so make sure you're subscribed to the Carnivalier Newsletter.
